AccomodationThere are plenty of hotels in Delft, with a good range of facilities and prices. The organising committee has previously stayed at, and had good experiance of the `Hotel Juliana' (M. Trompstraat 33) as `***' accomodation, and `Best Western Delft Museumhotel and Residence' (Oude Delft 189) as `****' accomodation. Other hotels are listed in the links below. Some participants may like to stay in The Hague, Rotterdam or even Amsterdam and travel by train and/or tram to Delft each day.Wherever you decide to stay we suggest you book early as July is a busy tourist period for Delft. |
TravelThe nearest airport to Delft is Amsterdam Schiphol. From the airport, Delft is a simple train journey. The timetables are available here. The train station at Schiphol is within the main airport building, the journey takes roughly 50 minutes, and at Delft the train station is about a 15 minute walk from the University. |
